Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair that offers light weight and excellent maneuverability. Its one-hand fold is compact, which means it's lightweight and is freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a nearly flat position, and there's an enormous storage bin and canopy. Baby-friendly? Yes with an additional carrycot.
Good suspension and air-filled tyres will handle rough terrain well. It's also suitable for jogging, but you should wait until your baby is at least six or nine months old to do this.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This lightweight pushchair by Ickle Bubba is packed with lots of features that parents will appreciate. The travel system comes with a carrycot that is flat for newborns and a multi-position forward and rear facing seat for the pushchair.
The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to see why it's earned praise from customers. It's extremely light-weight - the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg. It is also very simple to put together. In fact, I was able to get the whole thing up and running in just five minutes, which is amazing considering that it also included the tying of the fabric to the carrycot!
The seat is wide and comfortable for Annie, who is 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to operate. The basket has plenty of space, and I am impressed that the handle bar features pockets to keep your keys and phone secure.
The handlebar is low, which can be a problem for parents who are taller. However, it's coated in a gorgeous leather-like material that is soft and comfy and wipes down easily, so it's still easy to push even with children and bags on your hands!
3 wheel pushchair is designed for active parents who are eager to get outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be used on field and forest trails. The front wheel is lockable and swivels to allow for greater versatility. It also has a padded 5-point safety harness and a front bar to ensure your child is secure on all journeys, while the parking brake effectively stops the stroller from moving even when you take a break. The seat can be repositioned to lay flat and the canopy can be opened to allow maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 centimeters to accommodate dad or mum's heights.

The Runner will accompany you on all your adventures whether it's a leisurely walk, a longer hike or a long-distance trek. It features a completely flat lay-flat seat that has suspension air wheels for a smooth ride. The front wheel can be locked for greater stability on narrow streets or crowded sidewalks. The stroller can also fold up to fit into car boot spaces and storage spaces.
Some parents have found the Runner 2 to be a bit more difficult to navigate than its predecessor and the locking mechanism is less user-friendly (requiring two buttons on the opposite side of the push bar). The handlebar is a little higher than some competitors which means it might not work for smaller parents, but overall this is a sturdy and versatile stroller that is worth a look for families with active children.
Red Kite Push Me pacing
The Pace is a great option from Red Kite, an affordable British brand which is known for its well-designed and no-fuss parenting essentials. It's the latest - and priciest - addition to their bargain lightweight stroller range and like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo it's car seat-compatible so that you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace has some amazing design touches such as a rose gold tint to the hood, chassis and stroller trims that make it stand out from its competitors. The car seat and stroller fabrics are fashionable in tan, grey, and cream. You can also choose to add a leather handle and bumper bar to match.
It's suitable from birth to a max weight of 22kg and the stroller seat converts easily from a carrycot to an reversible 2-in-1 mode that can be parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat comes with various lie-back positions, soft padded legs rests, and an extendable sun canopy with zip-off sections that are concealed with a view-through flap, and retractable visor.
When folded when folded, the Pace measures 56 33cm x 43cm x 32cm which allows it to be used as hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also simple to fold, thanks to two buttons on either side of the handlebar that just need to be pressed in and out. Then, it will pop up.
Bugaboo Fox 5
Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate, all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis features shorter wheel length, making it more manoeuvrable than its predecessor. I tested it with my two kids one of whom is eight weeks old and the other toddler - on rough pavements along with grassy wooded trails and even cobblestones.
The large, puncture-proof wheels - either 22cm or a bit larger - can handle different terrains. The wheels come with flaps that can be shut or opened to let air in when needed. It's a little larger than most pushchairs, yet does not feel heavy or bulky when you're pushing it over bumpy surfaces.
The fabric of the seat is machine washable, as are the frame and faux leather grips are simple to clean. It's also quieter than some pushchairs, and I felt confident using it on busy city streets. A bonus feature is that it incorporates accessory points, meaning you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags and even a snack tray. The hood can be used to block rain and wind, however it's not waterproof. It's a single pram but you can add their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child a bit of leg room. It took around 20 minutes to put together the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it to the seat.

The Ridge's reversible seats lets you choose whether your child faces you, or the world in front. Its simple foot brake system makes it easy for parents who are just starting out. The reversible handlebar is great feature that allows you to adjust it to your height. The Ridge's fold, unlike other jogging strollers is reliable and self-standing when folded.
